Eligibility of Submissions
Application Requirements
The recipient of the Eldon Emerson Scholarship shows pride in academic merit, community engagement, excellence in the Human Resources discipline and demonstrates an interest in pursuing the CPHR designation. Those eligible to submit an application for the Eldon Emerson Scholarship are pursuant of the following eligibility requirements:
- The applicant is in at least the second year of their degree program
- The applicant must be a full-time student
- The applicant must be majoring in Human Resources
- The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6/4.0 based on the last year of studies
- The applicant must be a CPHR Alberta Student Member
- All entries include: an official statement of marks, a personal letter, proof of full-time status, a current resume, a nomination letter, an answer to the article question
The recipient of CPHR Alberta's Diploma Scholarship shows pride in academic merit, community engagement, excellence in the Human Resources discipline and demonstrates an interest in pursuing the CPHR designation. Those eligible to submit an application for the Diploma Scholarship are pursuant of the following eligibility requirements:
- The applicant is enrolled in a 2-year diploma program
- The applicant must be a full-time student
- The applicant must be majoring in Human Resources
- The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 based on the last year of studies
- The applicant must be a CPHR Alberta Student Member
- All entries include: an official statement of marks, a personal letter, proof of full-time status, a current resume, a nomination letter, an answer to the article question
